What a Great Day, I went to a retirement part for a very good friend I used to work with. It was at the Medical Center where I worked pre-stroke. I was a little nervous going... I have stopped by there a few times.

Today I knew I would see alot of people. I had such a warm welcome, and everyone was so nice. I enjoyed the party for my friend and got to see wonderful people I worked with. I almost felt like the party was for me too.

One of the patients I used to take care of was in the waiting room when I went to the wing where I used to work. She was so excited to see me. She jumped up and hugged me and told me how much she still misses me. WOW what a good feeling.

Now I have more confidence back I will stop in to say "hi!" more often.

The doctor I worked for is getting a new medical assistant, she has worked there for a long time, and the nurse practioner she worked for retired. I offered to go in and show her how to set up for some of the procedures. Got a short visit with "my doctor" and have come home with such a nice feeling.
