Well I haven't blogged in awhile...

Have been busy getting some permits, etc together for our property. Everything going along nothing much new, which is GOOD news. The grandkis are all healthy except for the usual bugs..

January was a month of rain... normally in January an average rainfall is aroun 4 .5 inches... this year we had over 12 ...

February has been beautiful in the 50's this morning I woke up to about an inch of snow, after running around yesterday in a sweatshirt. The weather men say this is an El Nina year, so warmer currents, warmer weather. it it supposed to get up to 41 this afternoon, but in the high 30's and low 40's this week.

I am going to cook a nice Valentine's Day dinner and make a German Chocolate cake with the coconut pecan frosting.

The little squirrel that lives in out tree has been busy the last few days... I thre out some peanuts and he also gathers up the seed and nuts we throuw out for the birds.. he is so funny to watch..Maybe he knew the snow was coming... but he is fed all year around here.

I need to gather up the humming bird feeders and get them ready soon...

John is sooo happy, we bought an old back hoe a few years ago, last year it was not running, or not very well... well betrween a friend and my daughter's fiancee it is running and he is like a little boy with a new Tonka truck and a pile of dirt...

John's business is going better this year and we have 3 GREAT employees... makes life much easier all around...
