Dusting Off The Cob Webs
Well it has been a long time since i have blogged. I read so many interesting entries.... I am Happy for my life and the things I can do, but mostly seems pretty routine and not that interesting to write about.
This summer has been busy and my fatigue level is improved.. Not great yet but I think the key is I am learning I can no longer go at 90 mph with 6 hrs of sleep. I am learning to prioritize my energy and to take a break when I begin to get tired. I am learning I CAN"T do it all.. To Do what I can and tomorrow is another day.
John's brother Steve his wife Pat and 2 of their grandchildren ( our great nephew and niece) have come for a months visit. They are staying at my father in laws house. We have had a Great time visiting and getting to know Nick and Alyssa Nick is 9 and Alyssa 7. This is the first time we have met them.
The end of this week will be really busy again; get together potlucks, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. They are leaving Monday to go home to Florida.
Sunday my step daughter and her friend are flying in from Arizona. So I have been busy cleaning and getting the guest room (my craft room) clean and tidy for them.
I am so Thankful that the weather has been cool most days... I find I don't do well with heat and trying to clean and get much accomplished.
I am so HAPPY John has had great visits with family and I too enjoy them. John and Steven are 11 months apart. It is funny... Steven's wife was also born in Pennsylvania as I was.
I have had a good time visiting also.
Saturday before last we all went to sister and brother in laws River/recreation property. I think all the running around , cooking and visiting caught up with me. I went to our van and laid down and took naps.. a couple times. I scared everyone, they kept asking John.. is Bonnie okay.. after dinner my sister in law said you can lay down in our camper.. John was having a GREAT time and I didn't want to be a party pooper so I laid down and fell asleep for awhile.
My sister in law called yesterday to give us the days and times of this weeks get togethers, she said are you okay. I explaine about the fatigue and stroke and I had just gone beyond my limits and some down time and catch up sleep and that I am fine. She said I have never seen you like that.. I said well it happens...
So another 2 weeks and although I am Happy to see everyone and visit, I will be happy to get back to my quiet life.
