The middle of the week already. Time sure does FLY. Thumb is still hurting but at least I can shower. Went to golf this afternoon and said "hi" seeing as I can't use my hand. Not sure if I talked about Golf for the Physically Handicapped before or not. It is an organiztion started by a wonderful lady 17 years ago here in Southern Ontario. She no longer runs it. It's golf for anyone that has a disability. I am now the Secretary of this group.

Of course all wanted to know why I wasn't there earlier. Once I relayed my SAD story about my thumb, many got a good laugh at my expense. I too was laughing. Advised I had to go to drug store to get a rubber for my thumb. One lady suggested condoms. Not a bad idea but my thumb isn't that big (she said she was sure they made small enough ones for ....). Again we all laughed!!!!! I left and went to the drug store. NO I didn't have to buy condoms! :giggle: :giggle:

I'm now home and typing this. It was good to see all my friends and share a laugh with them. :giggle:

Sometimes that is all that is needed - good friends and being able to laugh at life's mysteries!! AND the bizarre things that we do.
