Ken, that gathering of family re-enforces your worth as a person. I just love get-togethers where Ray is still treated as an equal and a person who belongs. They don't happen a lot but we just got an invitation to a cousins' gathering just before Christmas and that put a smile on his face.

I was just looking at Sarah Snow's post on get togethers, maybe one day we could get together with you and Craig G from the Blue Mountains as we are the nearest NSW members?

Good for you on the planning and improvement from the vibration - that reminded me of when my OT recommended that I get a small muscle massager - at the time there were some on sale very cheaply at the local Sportshop for $10...... I did and used it on my left arm to help with the issue of taming sensation (rather than encouraging it) as I was having issues with too much of a reaction to any kind of stimulation - warm water felt like searing hot, cold felt like ice and so on.......

Since you did notice some improvement it may be a good idea to follow-up with one of these small devices
