Looks as if things might have leveled out in regard to Keiths depression. Although his psychiatrist has suggested that we increase Cymbalta by 30mg a day. Just started yesterday. Still good reflex in right leg but no longer any thumb movement. Speech remains the same with some words in the proper context but he hasnt seemed to be able to repeat them. Yesterday he began to experience swelling of the left leg and foot. He is taking 25 mg Hydrochlorothiazide but it not helping and neither have the compression hose. So we will go to his doctor 1/9/ to have this checked out. Since he has been under the weather lately he hasnt felt like moving about much and I believe that may have something to do with it.

I am however encouraged by the recent report on the news about umbilical stem cell. I feel certain that it holds great promise. Otherwise there is not much to report. Yes, I had hoped we might see more progress but we must be patient.
