twina is a particular vigorous massage practiced only by people who become doctors in this technic....the type of twina we receive is designed for stroke rehab...the focus is concentrated on muscles and tendons...the affected areas of the body are worked over with deep tissue work...it's done thru clothing...no oil, massage lotion...we all get this for 30 - 45 minutes five times per week in our rooms on the bed...the practitioner i was fortunate enough to switch to recently also gives me some good quality pt, ot within the session...i'm really grateful about this new development which i initiated!...some are better than others in every country!...i always look forward to this therapy...it's never painful for me...i am impressed by the increase of strength in my left arm and leg!...and very thankful!...we're working on hand extention!...i want my hand back!...i'll keep you posted on every aspect of my recovery here!

Thanks for your message - this blog business is all new to me so thought if you could just email it i could ask a few questions. But if you are more comfortable this way it's ok. Was wondering if you have any advice for us since you've made the trip already and we are now in the planning stages. All advice appreciated. Thanks and keep up the good work. Great to hear your blogs. cj

The Blog's on your treatment(s) are really interesting, and make me wonder if a similar trip would be worthwhile.

Keep up with the Blogging ! It's appreciated.

Cheers,

I saw "cupping" done once. We have several naturopathic and holistic clinics here.

The deep massage sounds interesting. Does it help with central pain syndrome?
