I've had it with whole Chio ordeal! I'm posting this in my blog instead of on the thread, because on my bolg I can vent to my heart's content.

This whole thing has gone on long enough and raised enough media attention, it is time to stop it! I'm tired of watching the news and seeing Chio day ## without a feeding tube....and a 1000something are dead and a few more 1000something homeless after an earthquake hit somewhere...

Because of one families ordeal the rest of the world has to take a back seat and become a footnote?!?!?!? My heart does go out to the family of Chio, but what about the woman who couldn't be by her father's side when he died because she couldn't get through the media frenzy and security checkpoints in time?!? What about all those people who are in desperate need of medical supplies, food, and potable water because of the 8.4 earthquake?!?

And all these @#$% activist groups aren't helping the matters at all! If these groups want to help, if the president and congress want's to get involved then I say don't get involved in one woman's affair there are hundreds of thousdands of people in the US and worldwide who need help. If eveyone is so dang gun-ho to help, then stop focusing on one case and see the whole freakin picture!

The world does not revolve around one patient who's family is battling between themselves for the sake of a wife and daughter, nor does it revolve around a pop star who's on trial AGAIN for molesting a child. There's poeple all over this world who are struggling with big decisions, and who are hanging on to survival by the barest of threads.

If eveyone wants to go out and be an activist to try and save or help someone who's having a medical delimina, then I say fine...pick a few hundred members of StrokeNet and start there. Or maybe you can start by helping the hundreds of thousands who are homeless and in desperate need of the basic necesities of life.
