Teddy getting fat
:yikes: It appears, Theodore has had a couple of meals too many, or in Spanish, Teddy es un perro gordo. This is not going to be easy. He sure can look pitiful when he wants something. He will sit down in front of me and give me 'that look'. He can make you feel like a monster. But it is for his own good.
Otherwise, he is doing terrific as usual, although he can sure act stuck up to other people. He has learned to recognize Aunt Kim's car and when he sees it on his morning walk when he finishes he goes straight to the med room for his morning treat and let the people fuss over him.
I started getting my prescriptions from the VA I got my first order through the mail this week. I asked the Nurse Practitioner to re prescribe pain pills just in case I need one. It has been heep many moons (Native American lingo there) since I had any pain pills or sleeping pills. The NP gave me a basic check up. She said I was very healthy, except for my smoking of course :nuhuh: She told me about the VA quit smoking classes. She said there is now a pill that is very helpful, but I may not be able to get it because of my stroke. I think I mentioned I got Teddy's arthritis medicine. He got a free chew bone with it, but it was huge(almost as big as he is), so I gave it to Anne for her dog Sam, I hope he likes it.
I have another appointment tomorrow at the VA. I am going to get a new Dr, her name is Dr Knutson. Whenever I hear a Nordic name I think of Monty Python and the opening about the moose :roflmao: from 'The Holy Grail'. Don't get me started on Monty Python. They just crack me up so much. A very long time ago I went to a Tech Training School out at what used to be Lowry AFB. Every Friday night several of my friends would get together and watch Monty Python vcr's, way back in the day before dvd's.
