Today was my appointment at the VA. Last night the local weather guessers took snow out of the forecast, they said maybe a few flurries before dawn at most. WRONG. We had about 3 inches of snow when I woke up. :Argh: My bus picked me up at about 7:30. With one stop to pick up another person I did not get to the VA until 9:00. The traffic was FUBAR to put it mildly. It was more like a parking lot. Of course my appointment was at 830 so my Dr said "no way sucker", so I had to reschedule it for Jan 8. My return ride showed up on time and all went well. **smack!**

Thanks to all for the advice for Teddy's fatness. We will see how it goes. I don't think Theodore likes carrots though.

Last night I ran over Teddy's paw with my wheelchair. :yikes: Poor Teddy yelped like I never heard before. Of course I felt horrible. And Teddy acted like he did something wrong, which made me feel even worse. It seems he is OK, which is a big relief to me. I did give him some baby aspirin. I don't think I broke anything because there was no swelling or even limping. :cheer:
