Fortunately, Teddy had no permanent damage to his paw. I gave him some baby aspirin, and he seems to be acting like nothing is wrong. Also, the medicine for his arthritis seems to have helped. His hip swelling is down and he has no trouble getting on or off the bed.

I did have to get some winter accessories since I am now walking Teddy. He is kind because when it's cold he wants to get back inside as soon as I do. There is still a little ice on the sidewalks, but most of it doesn't affect my taking him out. There is one spot that I'm not sure about, but Teddy doesn't really force me to try it.
