Marie it was lovely to have you at my chat today. I am sorry there was such a fast pace set, that happens sometimes. Maybe you could send a personal message (PM) to someone you have chatted with and ask them to chat at an earlier time to get the feel of it. It is busy at regular evening chat times but the afternoon ones are not as busy so you might try one of those too.

Don't fret if you go into chat and cannot follow. This is very common, even for those who have practiced and are a long way out from their stroke. If it gets confusing, just follow along and don't respond. It does help the mind to participate. even just to read the comments. Often the particulars of what is said in chat are not as important as participating.

Having said that, I think Sue has a good idea.

Char does get hectic at times, particularly in the evenings. Afternoon chats are usually quieter and easier to follow along. I'm almost 4 years post and still find myself lost in the shuffle at times. Multi-tasking is quite difficult for most of us.
