doing much better

I am doing much better this week. Will see dr. next week to get results of MRI. I had my pitty party and flushed(thanks Donna). Have been doing new projects. I made two" blankies" for the grandkids. I also have a pattern and material for a quilted bag. I may join the quilt group at our senior center so I can get help on my projects. I have also agreed to go my daughter's school to be her volunteer once a week to help run papers etc. I also volunteer once a week at the hospital and have a weekly Bible study so that doesn't leave much time for self pity. My husband has tried to reason with me that some days I may need a nap and thats ok.....he may be right!!! I used to get a little down now because school is starting and I won't be there. Now with the weather so hot I am so thankful I'm not there anymore. Life is good and I am truly blessed!! Nancy survivor since 2003

Nancy,

Good to see you keeping busy. Keeping yourself active definitely keeps the "woe is me" at bay. Your hubby is right - there will be days a nap is needed and that's ok too. I have found, for me, if I ignore the "zzz-ing out" call, I'm in danger of falling or doing something stupid and even dangerous. I try to look at it as a regrouping time.

I am glad you are feeling better and done with pity party. occasional pity parties are okay even sixe 2 models also has them. but I also think by keeping busy in our lives we keep woe is me at bay.

I am also looking forward to new school year & flurries of activitis which will come in our household with kido going to school.
