Butterfly Garden

BUTTERFLY GARDEN

I finally dug up the area in front of my house next to my sidewalk that lead

out to the street and the driveway. Part of it is already had Dwarf Iris and Day

Lillie's and Asian Lillie's. I have another 6' that is weeds and mud ugly. I

turned that over and added compost to break up that Georgia Clay dirt, and

added lots of good organic fertalizer all with the help of my very very best

friends Mary and Robert. She even put my plastic sides in to hold the dirt

in the area and not let the rain that comes down the driveway wash the dirt

away. Carl was the master mind behind what to add to the soil. With all of

us working together the flower bed was born. Thank God ! Thank Mary,

Robert, Al, and Carl. That was enough work for today. Tomorrow I will

lay the seed, water and then cover for 7 to 10 days for germination.

I'm exhausted today, but I really feel good about what I have accomplished

in my yard this year.

You are a gardening genius, and I would so love to hug all your friends for helping and supporting you. The butterflies will love it too, no doubt about that. You have worked so hard and we all expect you to post pictures in the gallery of the gardens when they are all fully in bloom. If you don't know how I am sure someone here can give you instructions.

Thank you, thank you for your so enjoyable blogs.

(((Hugs))) from Sue.

could you please post pictures of your garden with & without bloom. I would like to get into gardening but can't do alone yet, & hubby is busy guy with so much added responsibility.

Girl, I so enjoy flowers and the beauty of them. Butterflies are one of my favorite things to watch, My Sister-in-Law, Betty, has a beautiful garden and they just all gather there. It gives me peace to see all of God's beauty sprouting up all over the place. Your hard work will pay off when you sit and enjoy the blossoms. Yes, plse take pics as I would love to view them. Look how far you have come. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy, Thank God for friends. :friends: :forgive_me?: :forgive_me?: :forgive_me?: :forgive_me?: :forgive_me?: Without friends life would be like a garden without flowers. God Bless, Love n hugs, Jan
