New brace ,bowling ball and Maple candy

Well I finally got my new bowling ball on Friday :Clap-Hands: and I got to bowl one game with it to make sure the fit was right. I bowled an 81, not great, but not bad. At this point anything that goes down the lane and I am still standing is good I guess.

Friday night I went with my Sister, brother-in-law and nephew to a street fair. I got to give my nephew his fist taste of Maple candy and he loved it. We have a great time I am so glad I have my scooter so I can go on these outings with my family, I could never have walked that whole time and would have missed the Maple candy moment with Henry. He may not remember the first time he ate Maple candy but I will. :)

My Saebo brace has been shipped, I am scheduled to get it on Tue July 18th, I can't wait! :Clap-Hands: I am so glad the problem with getting the Cobra set up didn't slow down getting the brace, I am so ready for this brace.

hey Sheryl:

I a so happy with your bowling score. I don't think I would have even tried bowling post stroke. I am so happy you are still creating wonderful memories post stroke with your family.

Sheryl,

Congratulations on your first game with your new ball! Your score will continue to climb. Here's to many many more festivals and maple candy tasting with your family.

I am happy you have a scooter so you can get out and about. I love festivals, too. I haven't gone to as many since my stroke but hopefully will be able to do so more this coming Fall....Octoberfest in Cincinnati is wonderful!
