hi suzanne, happy holidays to you and yours also. please don't be so hard on yourself about how you look. we all have changed since our strokes. i bet you looked just fine. we can't always do what we used to be able to do in our daily routines, make-up, hair, nails etc. doing my hair now is a huge effort but i somehow make it look presentable, hubby is not into curling irons, so i do it myself. we now do the best we can. we have limitations now. i hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving in spite of how you looked. family should understand. i have had the same thought as you though and i just shut off the mirror and say to myself this is as good as it gets, and walk away,LOL give yourself more time i'm sure things will look better to you with time and practice.
