HostAsha Posted February 6, 2010 hey Sue: I am glad you forgot your planned script and gave talk from your heart. I am sure it must be great speech. Even though I didn't attend, I have read about your journey and your struggles. I know for me my jouney was less lonely due to bloggers like you. I knew I can get through this bump in my life, if Sue is able to go through her difficult life's journey. Asha Quote Link to comment
RLT Posted February 7, 2010 Sue, When my oldest children were young, I was told to read good how-to books then close them and put them away. I learned too that was the best way to prepare for a speach; write out the notes then put them away. What comes out then is a mixture of head smarts and heart feelings. It is always closer to the mark. I am sure that your chat with fellow survivors encouraged many. I learned in my speaking days that I was often the one blessed as well as I expressed what was inside. Hope this chat did the same for you. Ruth Quote Link to comment
