HINT..HINT..!!

Very clever, Sue. I just got through emailing Lin to get a copy of the Nov. newsletter which I missed reading. I told her I wanted to get back into strokenet and seem to be at a loss of words as to what my problem is. It seems that since I was diagnosed early in 2010 with spinal stenosis I feel I don't belong in "stroke" anymore. That is very irrational thinking. I stroked in June 2006, almost died and know I have a lot to share. Tomorrow I have 2 tests at my dr.s clinic and another dr. appt Fri, but I am now going to do my "homework" per teacher Sue and read all the blogs since Dec. 12 and blog back comments plus some of my original thoughts. I've always said God works in mysterious ways! Hugs to all. Leah

Leah, please do. You have so much to offer us "newbies". Start off with a New Year's Resolution to stop in and read and update, even if you feel you have nothing to offer, just say hi. We miss you. Debbie

Leah:

I'm glad you finally took the hint my friend. Remember, you need us and we need you. You are so special to me and many others here. Please keep in touch, by blogging or by messenger.I will always want to know how you are doing.

What each one of you has to say is important to me. What you are going through is important to others. We who speak (blog) speak for the voiceless, those who cannot find the words to express what they want to say. They see in our blogs a reflection of the situation they are also in.

So keep up the good work. :forgive_me?:

Sue.

Leah I am a little behind in my reading and trying to catch up. I dont think there is a forum for me Lets see I have Central pain but I have had multiple strokes and then there is my family life and my hubby who just had his biopsies done He has a pancreatic mass and in addition they found a rather sizeable mass in the liver as well so Here I am I have come to love all my dear friends here What I know is that no matter what I am a stroke survivor and it will be so the rest of my life I need to be here for you I and know that you are here for me come what may. I am so glad to know that you must have missed us too You are a huge part of us our dear friendflowers.gifhug.gif That is one thing I know will never change Karen

Thank you so much for your words Karen. I really needed that today. You have been through a lot too and have a lot on your plate. Often I repeat "I am OK, "I am OK" if just for this moment, as that is all we have. One thing I know is that I AM a survivor, tho not easy I can always find the help I need and I know God is always with me. He is my rock and refuge from the storm. Bless you and I will try to stay in touch more often. I hope you find something good on this holiday ... if anything, we have received the best present we ever could get. Hugs from Leah :friends:
