We built a large raised planter in the middle of our deck for herbs. It is great to be able to simply step out the back door and pick herbs. In this photo you can also see the tomato plant in the back. What you can't see is the spinach and lettuce. We have already harvested some lettuce and spinach and the new is just coming up.
