    A Time To Be Thankful

fred that is right from the heart, I enjoyed it,you have wonderful insight into this ,I hope to be encouraged-Thanks
  5. yeah we know, weve been there-much the same-stroked in May-it gets better and easier, you do what you can-not what you used to do,easy tasks such as putting on your shoes become major because they take so long, but never give in fight for freedom and trust God has a purpose for you being like you are-that purpose may not be for you-good luck

  7. excuse me-sometimes I get lost-do you ever in your past think you will be better tomorrow and when tomorrow comes you are just the same as yesterday-am I just kidding myself or am I refusing to give up-I look at my right hand-it looks good, it feels good-am I denial? Thanks for opinion

  11. very interesting-how so many of us came to be as we are-I keep hearing from others you could be worse I wonder have they been through anything close to this ,do they know what it is like-suddenly the only thing working is your left hand. I used to preach now I listen. It is difficult to be thankful yet I am

    A great day!

Sounds like a great way to spend a day.I have a mixed mutt but he loves to run free in the woods,I sit on a tree trunk and watch. He returns and lays at my feet.Iagree its a great day.I agree its the Lord who is in control. Now if he will keep our focus on Him and not on our 'problem' which is only a different way of life
  14. good for you,a strong will and humbleness to acknowledge who is in charge
  15. Thank you for the slice of life-it was interesting and personal/I think it was great that you could sit and talk-and listen. It was the stroke that brought me and my wife closer because one of us wasn't listening (me)now she is my caretaker, friend

    whoops

thanks for the funny stories,I guess being able to laugh at yourself and your frustrations is part of the healing and we all need that,I know falling is not beneficial and we certainly don't plan it but if you can laugh -later good for you

    whoops

Anyone tip over in Walmart-just picking out some shoes I could wear over my leg brace/leaned over too far to right=right side paralyzed- dumb thing to do so felt like a weeble but a broken one cuz they don't fall. Anyway we laughed after someone helped pick me up-learned my lesson/anyone else done something dumb-learned to laugh
