It's only 4 more days until my hubby comes home from the nursing home. Boy is he getting excellant care. Maybe it's because I called the Omnibudsman of the county the home is in or maybe it's because they are getting tired of my constantly coming down on them or maybe because they are telling themselves that they will no longer have to deal with me or my hubby. He is a handful - but that does not mean that he should be cared for properly.

Today when I went to see him - he is so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! All he talked about was what he could do at home - I don't think he realizes that these things are not possible until he starts working in PT. He constantly says to me "Where am I gonna work?" and I keep telling him, "stop worrying about working - your main focus is to get better." I started today to undecorate his room, between his brothers and sisters and myself we had his room decorated and looking like home. Tonight I brought home 2 boxes of stuff and will probably have 2 more boxes plus all his clothes, personal items and TV to bring home Friday - oh - and don't forget my hubby.

I am so happy he's coming home but I'm scared. I know that this is gonna be alot for me, even tho he will get nursing care. I'm gonna need to take it one hour at a time and I know that there will be an adjustment period for me and for him. I can't allow myself to constantly worry but maybe start right now and work on a schedule that will work for the both of us and try to stick to it.

I have alot to do within the next 4 days so that everything is ready for when he gets here.
