Hi everyone. Good to be back. Big thank you's to Julie and Sue for letting you all know what was going on and for the support I needed while being out of touch.

Thank you to everyone for the concern and good wishes throughout all of this. Last three weeks seems like months. In stroke time that is just a drop in the bucket - lol. My tech guys were incredible. They were sure Toshiba was just taking a guess and they were right. Saved me hundreds. Actually tech guys suggested if it was what Toshiba was advising, it would have been cheaper to just get a new computer.

Our darling Walt flew out this afternoon. What a terrific three days. Wednesday night we also invited two other couples who know Walt well for dinner. I can't remember the last time we entertained. Of course the "team" had the house perfect and Walt's room and bathroom ready to go. Both families brought enough food and gifts for weeks - lol and everyone in this group helps out, so all of us had a terrific time. The weather for Walt's visit was perfect - high 70's, sunny and dry and then mid-60's overnight. We were outside most of the time - big doings for Bruce, as you know. But he can not say "no" to Walter and Walt knew this was important to me.

An interesting sideline to all of this was Walt had a four-door Mazda 3 as a rental. Bruce was able to get in and out of the car with no help - not even with the affected foot, plus leading out with the affected foot. It was pretty amazing. Head room, of course, was as tight as my Honda so I had to watch his head going in and the door handle is up underneath the door frame, but Bruce used that and the car door. So I will have to keep that in mind for the future.

I will be doing my best to catch up. There were some very interesting threads going on. I did check in and read every day. Fortunately Julie was able to let you all know what was going on before Nancy called 911 from North Dakota - LOL. That would have been interesting!

Will be anxious to get back to Chat next week. Bruce's lady friends will be coming for dinner, but hope to be able to check in for a bit. Again thank you all for your kind thoughts and concerns. Debbie
