Well Braincore has definetly worked. Though the allergies is a pain. He has to stay inside most of the time to keep him healthy. This time of year is hard for him because he is getting cabin fever bad. His sister got a DSI and games for Christmas and he stole it from her. He is also playing a game on the computer called wizard 101 and he is on it most of the day. He also watches "Milo and Otis" I wish I can throw that movie away.

He hates going to school but is taking to homeschooling real well/ He has finished his K-books and almost done with his first grade book and started 2nd grade book. the game wizard 101 is teaching him to recognize words.

He is going to be OK, most kids these days spend a bit of time in front of a screen of some kind he is no exception so long as he shows signs of wanting to learn!!

My 8 year old had some low grades they came up we got her a puppy (that I care for all day) that she loves dearly so she got promoted to 4th grade!! For Christmas she wanted a tablet, we got it because her report card indicated she would be great going to 5th grade but she is so small we feel the bigger and taller kids would pick on her but I think her teachers will do it anyway!

So Cayden is going to be great with home school he wants to learn and that is always good!!

Cayden, great that he likes to learn and that is imporant. Fred was correct, the kids of today spend too much time in front of a screen. My grandson loves his computer, tablet and his DS. He does not like doing his schoolwork. It is like pulling teeth! he is smart, but lazy.

It is great that Cayden is doing so well, and enjoying homeschooling

Hi Dyan, the caregiver chat group was inquiring about you last week, and all the others who have been too busy to come on. It is good we can catch up with you through your blog.

Choosing home schooling may be doubling your work but by the sound of it it is working for both you and Cayden. It is so good he is learning to read, it starts you on a hobby that can last a lifetime.

I am so glad to hear that Cayden is progressing! Keep up the good work. With all the nasty stuff going on in schools today I think I would home school my children if they were that age anyway! Sounds like you guys are doing great!!
