hubby has decided to go to the "beach" and take ashley and a friend 'till sunday night!!!!! they just left. he begged me to go. NO THANKS. first of all biloxi is not my idea of a "beach" and spending 3 nights in a hotel room with HIM and two giggly 14 year olds is NO FUN FILLED EVENT EITHER!!!!!

SO, I AM "ON MY OWN" FOR THREE precious days. now, what to do? since he is so jealous of my friends( mostly male) i thought now would be the time to "catch up". i left three messages for three different friends last night, and have already gotten 4 voice mails from them, and one more who "heard it through the grapevine". it feels good to be popular!!! lol i feel like a school girl again

tonight, i'm going to dinner and a movie, tomorrow night i'm going out dancing with the the "fred astaire" of my high school days",( he promises not to let me fall down, ) and SUNDAY, after i see daddy for father's day, i'm going on a picnic and boating at the lake all afternoon. the fourth "gentleman caller" will have to settle for lunch on monday.

i will be worn out, but WHO CARES!!!!! hubby and i do not like the same movies, he doesnt like to dance, i am a very good dancer, at least i used to be, this will be first time since stroke. i'm scared, but i have a good partner who can carry me through. we used to like to go to this oldies bar that has ballroom dancing and music from the 30's and then they play diso, TOO COOL.( if i don't fall down) the last time hubby and i went to a movie, it was one HE wanted to see. and i PAID for the tickets cause he's so cheap.

i said" look, i paid for the tickets, you get the snacks." he KNOWS i always get a pickle and a water. when i got out of the restroom guess what he had? A BIG ASS GREASY BUTTERY BOX OF LARGE POPCORN, A BOX OF CHOCOLATE RAISINS AND ONE LARGE coke( which i hate) and two straws. I SAID" IF YOU HAD ACTED LIKE THIS WHILE WE WERE DATING WE WOULDN'T BE HERE NOW!!!!! " he had just done it because it was "cheaper" hell, he spends more than that with an opening bet at a black jack table.

MY FRIEND WHO I AM GOING TO THE MOVIES WITH HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE WE WERE 16. WE HAVE SEEN 100's OF MOVIES TOGETHER. I WILL BET HE ALREADY HAS THE TICKETS BOUGHT SO WE DON'T HAVE TO STAND IN LINE, AND I BET HE BUYS ME A PICKLE AND A WATER TOO.

THE "dancer dude is also friend from high school. best dance partner i ever had. we won a contest once together,. dancing with him makes you feel like ginger rogers, hence the fred astaire name. i hope we still "click" that way, probably will.

at least it will be fun.

the "boating and picnic guy", is an old boyfriend. but he's in a related field and we have conducted business for several years, i think( Hope) he's over that part, we'll see. i didn't "want" him then or i would have married him when he asked. he couldnt be any worse than what i've got though, i don't think. that's why he got the day date' lol. i dislike my husband, but i'm not a "cheater" unless you consider platonic dating cheating.

the other two are gay so that won't be a problem. i am so happy. i feel alive today. i have spent all week sprucing up for the anticipated "holiday". nails done, new perm, new clothes, the coolest dance outfit i've had in YEARS, and teeth bleached. if i stand up straight, those extra pounds might not be noticable, that and everything i bought is black!!!!!! lol

you may wonder how i KNEW my dance card would be filled. i just DID. i'm like that, i know when i am wanted, and i was right!!!!!! i will have the time of my life this weekend, and i can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
