Browsing Yahoo Personals

OK, I'll admit it, I was browsing yahoo personals for "A woman seeking man, age 35-45, caucasian, within 50 miles of______________" I wasn't going to try the online dating route. I still may not do it, but a funny thing struck me as I was perusing my 32 matches.......... This is shopping for a man! You get to check them out, if looks are what attracts you first, read what they lied about themselves and pretty much pre judge them before you contact them. Not a bad deal when you think about it. Hey I like to shop, I'm not spending any money and I can do it whenever the mood strikes. It is a fun way to spend my time and get rid of some of this boredom. My attitude is if it works out, that's cool, if not oh well. I just wish I could do the "feel test" like you know squeezing veggies at the grocery store.....

Life is so wonderful, so many choices....... I did think about putting up a profile that included, must have valid drivers license and reliable car....... Keep ya all posted.

This has got to be one of the funniest reads. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. And who knew Charles was so full of himself and funny with his details.

You go Pam. Good Luck and have fun with your online shopping. biggrin.gif

Okay, guys, I'm REALLY bummed out here! You all keep enticing me to "browse the Yahoo Personals." Fine, I decide that I like looking at people on the make as well as anyone else and I was bored, so I'm going to try it out. Right? Well, Yahoo won't let me!! They are discrimating against us people over 40!---unless we lie, of course, and say that we are in order to register. What do they think? That everyone over forty is either dried up and not interested in the opposite sex or big fat liars who will say anything to get a date? Okay, that might actually be true, but I only wanted to window shop! Why place an age limit on that?

I'm going back and registering as a hunk, a super studmuffin who is looking for a spunky, short New Yorker who likes kids and pets. I'm going to say that I like women with the first inital of "P" because I bought all these monograms silk sheets on sale and I want to use them. My male alter ego will be 39, of course, have a driver's license and I just happen to have bought a pile of philopsophy books recently. Do you think I'll get anyone to respond to my profile?

Hey sounds to good to be true! But go for it mom, try looking from ages 35-60 and see what you get. You may still be able to browse. I have to rewrite my profile. I don't think I have enough lies to sound good. lol_2.gif
