simple joys of life

who knew life will be so much joyful even after stroke, ofcourse I do have some accidents in between, but good days outweighs not so good days. recently we got birdfeeder for our deck. & every day while having my breakfast I see all kinds of birds coming to our feeder including beautful red northen cardinal. recently got swing for our deck too which has made me even more happy. I still remember how I thought I would never find joy in living again. but slowly learning valuable lessons about myself. I am stronger than I ever gave myself credit for. & happiness is indeed choice.& I make wise decisions every day

Asha,

Your post made me recall that we had this very fancy chalet bird feeder my dad had made, my mother loved it and when I was young she and I would sit there and try to name the birds, sometimes we had to get the book out. Thanks for triggering that warm memory.

Asha, your post, reminds me that you don't have to have "riches" to enjoy

life. My husband, will after he comes home, sit outside, talking or just

been quiet and enjoying our surroundings. Before my stroke, was too busy

with work, getting housework done and clothes for tomorrow work. Now we both

are seeing what is imporant, taking time and enjoying the monment.

Thanks Asha

Asha,

U agree it seems I get much more joy out of the simple things

My daughter and 4 yr old grandson came over

His excitement about putting on a life jacket and going swimming how wonderful pure joy if a child
