I Fired #2 Today!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FIRED the aide today. She made her last rotten comment to Chris. This afternoon when we where laying him down to rest, I always change his brief. His legs where very stiff today and of course it was a chore to get the brief just right so that it was not digging into his legs. I guess because I made the comment about his stiffness, the aide's comment to Chris was "spread um." She left as fast as she walked in the door this morning.

 

Yea, maybe he is a handfull at times, and his mind is slightly off from what he was like before the stroke, but no-one is going to talk to or undermine my husband.

 

I have gotten to the point, no matter how hard it may be I would rather do it myself.

 

What ever happened to PROFESSIONALISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad, that you are standing up for your husband, and not letting a person act that way to him! Keep it up, there is bound to be a precious- jewel caregiver help on his/her way

DID YOU PLAY HER A RECORDING OF DONALD TRUMP SAYING "YOU'RE FIRED? BAD HELP IS WORSE THAN NO HELP AT ALL. I HAD THAT IN OUTPATIENT REHAB FOR A WHILE, BUT DIDN'T REALIZE HOW BAD IT WAS UNTIL MY WIFE WENT TO A SESSION WITH ME. THE WHOLE GROUP SUCKED.

What in the h is wrong with people, that they think they could come into your home and say things like that...and they are earning a good wage...I get really frosted....When I worked and I was training "new medical assistants" the first thing I told them was advice I got from a teacher...".You treat patients like you would want your own mother or family member to be treated" maybe you should tell them that when they walk in the door and say if you can't do that leave NOW...

there are good medical people out there and I hope you find a pearl
