Maybe you could save a 5 or 6 pieces of food from their daily allowance and just before you go to bed give them as a treat (to both of them)... usually the "diet food" has more fiber ...so fills them up... this may allow you to sleep.... Guest Posted August 9, 2005 JANICE, IF I DON'T IMMEDIATELY FILL ALL FIVE OF MY CATS FOOD BOWLS UPON AWAKENING, THEY WILL TRIP ME, JUMP UP ON ME, WHINE, THROW THEIR FAT LITTLE BODIES AGAINST THE BATHROOM DOOR, ETC!!!!!!!! I FEEL YOUR PAIN. ALSO, IF THEY GET HUNGRY BEFORE I WAKE UP, THEY WILL USE MY STOMACH AS A TRAMPOLINE, STICK THEIR WHISKERS UP MY NOSE, PUT THEIR WET LITTLE NOSES IN MY EARS, ETC!!!!!! Having been dieting myself, I'd know exactly how the cats feel and would want to make them feel better but knowing that isn't good for them....well, no one said being a cat mommy was easy every day.
