Doing Better

Well it has been quite the month or so...

I had my doctors appointment and though I was a bit disappointed, things could be a lot worse..

He has added new medication three for osteoporosis, one for cholesterol and triglycerides and changed my anti-depressant.

I am doing much better on the new anti depressant, husband could see a change right away. I am feeling more like my self. It has given me some energy and really helping with sleep.

So far I have been tolerating the new cholesterol medication without side effects

Have tried several and just couldn't take all the side effects.

My world is looking brighter and my interest in it is coming back. I am sleeping well and just totally feel soo much better cloud9.gif

I had felt like I was going backwards for awhile, but I guess with what has been going on the last month. Over doing and then my old antidepressant decided to quit working....

John and I had a great weekend, did some shopping and out to lunch, even though it was pouring down raining I could see the sun again.

Bonnie,

Glad you are feeling better. Nothing beats that "I feel like my old self" feeling.

Bonnie:

very glad you are feeling great again, it makes you realise isn't life wonderful with what you have and you can still do so much with your limitation.

my husband has a lot of depression and gets very angry and unable to cope at times..... of which he takes his frustrations out on me and screams and yells for no reason at all.. I believe it is because of lack of communication skills... I need some input on where to get info on how to deal with this .. I tried Dr. Phil but he doesn't seem to have any info on this subject... not much help here in the line of counselling but am going to try and get more help from his phyciatrist wish me luck I am getting very stressed over this treatment and need support which there is no group here...HELP
