I think it's sad that Halloween has been twisted into something evil and anti-religious in the past decade or so. However, it's not exactly a new concept. I remember trick-or-treating back in the '40s and there was one house that always handed out religious tracts condemming Halloween instead of handing out candy. Of course, the older we got the smarter we got and we'd just skip that house.
