My new Christmas dishes

Guest

I bought some new Christmas dishes today at Walgreens, nothing fancy, inexpensive fun seasonal dishes. The picture on all the plates is 2 snowmen. That means I can use them longer than my old Christmas tree dishes. And I can bless someone else with my old Christmas dishes! I have them in the dishwasher now getting shiny and clean to use tonight.

Something so simple can really excite me! I better go play dolls with my kiddo!

I don't get all excited about new dishes (or shoes, or outfits biggrin2.gif ) but I do know that stroke makes me appreciate everything a little more. (I don't play with dolls either lol_2.gif )

Strokes, for survivor and caregiver, do sharpen the ability to rejoice at the small things.

Amy, hope what you put in the dishes brings joy to others too.

Asha, I love your blogs about your kido.

Perry playing with dolls, or any other games small children allow you to join them in, is very therapeutic.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

I am just so thankful for this site, and all of you.

Amy,

I know the excited feeling you get whether it be dishes, tablecloths or a new appliance. Just enjoy the excitement, savor it. I also get like that over a pound of gourmet coffee too. It is under the heading of appreciating the simple little things in life now.
