Rehabilitating after the Thanksgiving storm
I am soo glad to be home, I must admit I needed the time away from home, since I am here 24/7 'retired'.
But I could really feel the stroke take hold when traveling, upstairs, down stairs. I bent over once to put an item in my suitcase and I slowly kept going down, until I hit the floor.
TG nobody knew, b/c it woulds of embarrassed me, I think the mental fatigue played on my physical fatigue too.
I spent the night at my little brothers house, they have no children, and of course their house stays pretty clean. I came home from their house, and today, instead of doing laundry etc. I rearranged the couches in the living room, rearranged my kiddos room and bed. I don't know where this crazy energy has come from. I think from being away from my house, and seeing my house through new eyes, and wanting a quick change.
I did all of this with no ankle brace on!! I am finally building strength up in it after always reinjuring it-and having to start all over again, on the rehab process.
My kiddo got all excited when I rearranged her room, I put her bookshelves in her closet, and we put one of her little plastic chairs in there, so she has her own "Library."
For Christmas she wants new comforter and paint for her walls, so my rearranging was a good cleaning move too.(she wants to change the nursery them/border) .
When I picked it out, I thought she could grow with it more. Oh well, she is her own person, and it's fun to see what kind of comforter she will pick out.
Nothing to blog, but I was close to getting pushed on page 2.
