Well, the Orchid Society has had their 2005 Christmas Party. Like last year, instead of going to a restaurant for 25.00 or so a person, it was catered for $11,00 this year. That includes a small orchid plant too. My sister was lucky and won a poinsettis door prize also. Too bad she didn't get one of the orchids they were giving out but I have one of that type and when it needs tobe divided she will have one too.

We had fresh fruits, veggies with dressing , shrimo, egg rolls, meatballs and a few other things which were good but I really have no idea what they were. The nice thing was that they had extra food if anyone wanted to go back. I wanted a few more pieces of melon amd pineapple and saw there were plenty of tiny meatballs so had a few more of those. LOL They had soda and water as beverage and cofee later and little cakes that tasted like cheese cakes Probably this place will get the job again next year The orchid we got has DBOS Christmas Party 2005 so it will always be a reminder of the party.

So that is over and Friday is the women's club party.........As my friends always say with me,,,,,,,,,,,,Foooooood! Lol Yum yum!
