i'm going to see my internist this week to get a letter from him stating that i have no serious underlying disease processes and that i am a good candidate for stem cell therapy...i'm still waiting for the hospital to copy my records from february and march of this year...i had sooooo many tests done...hopefully this will all be enough to get a green light from the medical board at scti...i have one issue i'd like to discuss further about exactly where all the cells will be injected...other than that i'm ready as soon as i can make the airline arrangements...i believe this therapy will accelerate my recouperation from this devastating stroke...a friend has volunteered to go with me for which i am grateful...i can walk on a quad cane and will need help/assistance getting thru the whole airport check-in procedure...the clinic people will meet us at the kiev airport...and it's a short 5-day protocol...i know someone who had stem cell therapy back in the 90s in the dominican republic...she received very good results from the treatment...

GOOD LUCK to you, esp. in Kiev - I have given it some thought, but will be more serious about this therapy, when it is in or closer to the USA

You'll be in my prayers and best thoughts, though

I read all your posts to date with interest .... keep it up !

It must be hard trying to weasel the info. (about your tests !) out of the hospital, in person to-boot, I know they like to play their cards close to the chest ....

Cheers,

HI I am all for stem cell research and therapy as this country should fund the saving of lives via stem cell research in lieu of funding a war that only takes away lives

Hi RJ and Happy Birthday. I had to fly back east last yr. When I booked my airline ticket (Iwas flying alone) I requested a wheel chair. I wasn't sure I could make it from one depature gate to another by myslef with crowds of people rushing to get by me. The airline was wonderful I got a wheel at check in and right to the gate. A wheel chair was waiting for me with a person to take me to the next depature gate. The people taking me around were wonderful and asked if I need to use the rest room, before my next flight. I was a little concerned flying alone .... but it was a very good experience and everyone helpful and polite. I kept a little change purse ready with dollar bills for tipping.

Wishing you the best and sending you warm wishes

Bonnie
