Well I mad it through Thanksgiving without getting sick.. I have pretty much finished my Christmas Shopping.... Friday I started coming down with a "cold" I am trying to keep it under control. As you all know, we are limited to what we can take to alleviate the symptoms. My head feels like it's the size of a LARGE pumpkin and just as full....

Well we have had quite the weather, with record rain in November, followed by over 10 inches of snow and then wind storms. South of us got the most severe winds and damage. we lost a few trees on our property, but no damage. We were only with out power about 5 hours one day and 2 hours another. People south have been without power 3 to 5 days and many houses damaged.

I am hoping to feel better by Wednesday to start making Christmas cookies. Tracy is going to come and we will bake together.

I managed to get most of the wrapping done yesterday, with lots of breaks.

John started putting the new floor in yesterday. It is the Dupont lock together flooring, we are doing the small bathroom, laundry room and kitchen.. they all hook together. The floor in here is the original floor from the 70's so it is pretty worn. It is not as easy to put in as they say...lol. He is doing a great job. If it was just one large room it would probably be easier but since it is going through 3 rooms it is more challenging.

We are only having the kids for Christmas brunch so I'm not worried if it's not all done. John sold one of his cars so we bought the flooring with some of the money. Decided that would be our Anniversary and Christmas present. The new floor looks like stone in a random pattern kind of a goldish, brown. I think it will be much easier for me to keep clean.
