Thank you all for your comments. I am speechless. I didn't realize I had a fan club :o I will reconsider and maybe take some time off from blogging so I that I can put ideas and memories together and make some kind of sense. I really like the idea of helping newbies with my experience. I feel like I have lived 100 years since my stroke when in fact it has been a mere 24 years. I will fish out some anecdotes in my big bag of memories and share the pleasures and the pains I encountered. Thanks again and I will talk to you soon through this blog or in chats. Bye for now. Take care and always remember there is life after stroke. Hugs, Marie-Claire

I am glad you will continue. My blogs ( nt working right now) are mainly ..kind of rambings of what I am doing. You never know who you will touch, or maybe give them hope that they can do it also. Even just knowing.. that other survivors are thinking or going thru the same thing is a huge help to survivors.

When I finally found this site..... I felt normal again.. i wasn't going crazy.. this happens to people.

hey Mari e:

thanks for reconsidering. not every blog will touch people but you will be surprised to see power of your writing that touched someone on this site. I think best part of this strokenet support site is that it has help so many lonely survivors whose world changed for them in an instant.

Thank you! I have been touched by your bloggings (especially being able to wear real shoes) and your finding love after 20 years. When you are ready to blog again, your Stroke Net family will be here.

Hi Marie

Sorry if I sounded hard on you in my comment to your last blog post. I am so happy that you have decided to stay.

Being a stroke survivor can be a very depressing and lonely place not only to mention confusing. I feel that every one who can share their experience has the power to encourage another.

So keep sharing your experience Marie because your experiences can touch other stroke survivors in a way that maybe no one else can.

Thank you Marie for being part of our stroke community and thanks for sharing!

Smiles :)

Gary
