you did a super job as chat host...especially in herding me to the correct room. :Clap-Hands: i have no business hanging out in lobbies...lol i did try a chat theme on weight loss suppor tbut it never really took off. i think you should run your ideas past kimmie and maria....chat room are always open. i think it is so great to have you as a regular chat host and as our substitute. i look forward to chating with you again..... :yadayada: cheers! kathy

Sorry I missed your first chat. I once used to have time to go to one other than mine but as it is mid-day Monday for me for your 8pm Sunday chat it does make it a bit of a challenge! However I will note it for a future rainy Monday.

Theme chats used to be held occassionally on Friday or Saturday nights - I loved the Pyjama Party we held one year. It might work for Sunday nights though....hmmmm. You'd just need to advertise the theme a long time in advance so people were prepared for it and maybe designate someone to take newbies into another room if they needed special attention. Keep up the good work.

Sorry I missed your first chat. I was dragged along with my husband to go suit shopping under the guise of his wanting my opinion and input, of which of course I was permitted none. I was allowed to pick out some socks, so bone tossed.

I'm sure it was a great success. You have the key element - a winning personality!

My suggestions are more along the lines of support related themes. In which case I would suggest looking over the board to see issues that appear to be hot or most prevelant and offer a specific chat based on that issue. For example families not understanding seemed to be big about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The major issues are always there and will cycle. Newbies will come for help veterans will come to offer support and share. You can also look through Classic Postings and Advice for major common issues although as a 24 year survivor I'm sure you know them quite well.

I already got tickets to your next...wouldn't miss it.

I like Maria's idea about themes. though I think you will have to advertise on board for long time and make sure you have atleast one expert in chatroom answering those concerns.

marie, i'm sorry more members and other hosts didn't show up yesterday for your 1st chat. you did a great job. your idea of a theme would be a good idea i think. once approved by donna i will put it on the chat calender.maria's idea of what's hot is a good idea too. i will do whatever i can to help you out. i will see you next sunday and kathy was to funny yesterday, but she usually is. i'm glad she joined us.
