please don't think of ourself as burden. everybody needs some change of scenary once in a while. your wife was able to leave alne that means she is confident that you can be left alone. take pride in that fact.

please don't think of yourself as a burden. all couples need to have spaces in their togetherness. it it great, as asha says,that your wife feels she can leave you for a few hours. try to enjoy your time alone....my hubby goes out for a few hours several times a week.....i use the time wisely and watch bad "girly tv" LOL. try to view the time apart as a way for each of you to refuel yourselves as you continue your stroke recovery path. kathy

The gals before me are right. I'm sure your wife would not go out if she was not secure in you being alone while she was out. As your recovery progresses you too will be able to do more.

We used only do stuff together now she needs space from me. Well I decided i want mine also. Shell have less stress because am not going to home much im start going out and livcing
