Programming in Access

After a bought of wondering if I should post this on the board or just my blog, I decided on just my blog until it is finished.

I've been looking over all the charts and records I have to start keeping for Kathy and decided to brush off my programming skills. I've designed several Corporate level databases in the past, but come to realize programming is a skill that if you don't use it, you'll defently loose it, so I'm starting from scratch relearning how to program.

Anyways, the reason for posting all this. I've finished the first part of the database and wanted to post it for anyone who was interested in using it, or just trying it, and giving me feedback. It's an Access database, so you have to have Microsoft Access installed in order to use it. Right now, all it does is keep a record of blood glucose levels and prints a report based on a date range given by the user. Mainly for keeping a record of your glucose levels to take to the doctor.

Near future plans is making a complete dietary record for calorie, carb, ect. intake. Also thinking of adding a medicine record to double check and give warning of meds that need to be taken or have already been taken. With some of these meds, I don't want to rely on memory, even with the little daily pill boxes.

Anyways, if you want to try it out and maybe give me some input and suggestions, here is the link http://benslockandkey.i8.com/stlog.html

The link is between the annoying banner adds. It seems that the host won't allow a direct link from my blog. angry.gif
