ON THE GROUND AGAIN!!!!

We have a 46 Ford pickup truck that Mike purchased quite a few years ago. It is stored in the barn at the bottom of the property which is downhill from the house but the yard slopes very gently. Mike had asked my brother to come take a look at it and determin if he would like to take it and do some mechanical work to it so that we could sell it, or maybe just drive it around and do some car shows. Well he came over and we were in the shop getting some stuff out to give my brother when Mike decides he is gonna go ahead of us to the barn where the truck was. My sister in law said she would go with him so my brother and I continued to finish up what we were doing before going with them. Next thing I hear is my SIL screaming "OH S_ _ T!!! I knew without even looking what had happened. I dropped whatever it was I had in my hand and took off! Looking across the yard all I could see was the PC over on its side and Mike laying there in the yard. A sheer look of horror on my SIL face! He had ran into a hole that neither one of them saw and turned the pc over. Poor sis didn't know which way to go! She was buzzing around him like a bee on honey and almost in shock! It's kind of funny now but no way was it at the time. No broken bones, I don't think, but he sure is sore today! Sure hope I didn't hurt her feelings when she said " Bet you won't ever let me watch him again?" all I could do was look at her and think "NOPE I SURE WON'T". But i didn't say it out loud ;).

Watch out for those holes in the yard everyone! Especially if the SIL is being the interim caretaker!! LOL

People, in general, actually think things like power chairs and golf carts are so safe, that they don't have to worry. My son actually was right there when a kid flew down a hill on a golf cart and busted his brains out against a tree. Don't be deceived about how nothing can happen in any moving vehicle!

The funny thing is that she has a 31 year old daughter that is totally hadicapped and has been all her life and has used a pc since she was about 10yrs old. You would think she would be one of the best people to help him watch for holes.

I am so glad he wasn't hurt. I am also sure SIL was HORRIFIED. Tell Mike I said he ain't at Bristol and he needs to slow down and take it easy.
