Tiny repreve from this sub zero freezer we are in..... Flying to AZ tomorrow for a week , my daughter and her boyfriend have a house they bought as an investment ... She wishes she could move the house here... Lol it is closet some casinos it is in the queens creek area... I've never ever been to AZ ... NY was my very first flight.. My FSI ( daughters boyfriend) does ok financially or I could not do any of the things I get to do.. But he loves her enough that basically if aprils mom is happy ( and I am only happy when Dan is happy) then April is happy.... Do not get me wrong... We are not some wealthy family ... But dan was very good with money so going into the stroke we were solvent so we didn't end up in medical bankruptcy.. We both worked 2 full-time jobs saving and paying as we went, getting ready for retirement.. Lol... well it is here, I am 45 yrs old feel like I am 100 ....so I pretty much am doing what I want when and if I can.... Don't get me wrong I will end up returning to work someday if only just to retain my sanity.. But health insurance is huge and I still have 2 daughters who need that support... But I am

 

 

 

still trying to show Dan we are still alive and gonna do things, so even though I would cancel the trip as I

 

 

 

always want to at the last second ..I won't we will go and have some more new experiences.... We both

worked hard all our lives and although it is costing us , it is also saving us.... crazy like a fox ..Colleen said this of me once... Who knows maybe.... But I am a little crazy , hopefully in the cat lady kinda way ..nancyl

I think that will be a great change of weather, in fact a change you may want to consider each winter when temps are like they are now in ND. I couldn't take it myself. During my Army years and being younger Germany and Alaska was OK. I wasn't in Alaska long but most of the days were dark not very much daylight and super cold in winter. I learned to live in Germany it's more seasonal like the US and you can travel by car to many other countries.

 

Nancy you should like AZ and the weather but when the wind is high dust storms can form that makes driving a mess. Everything is sandy. When it rains the water stands and flooding is created because the drains are full of sand and the water has no place to go.

I hope Dan will like it there, no AC, they use water coolers in the windows mostly.

Oh Boy! While we are certainly not as frigid as you, it is bitter cold here with the wind chill. Some one asked me today what I would wish. My response was warm, sun and surf - you won't get the surf, but there will be a pool. Have a wonderful time honey. One umbrella drink for me and 17 black on roulette. Blog soonest. Debbie
