Update on William

I have been busy taking care of William. I cannot seem to log on as Ruthpill. I will log on as William. It has been six years. We now have three little dogs. They are s good for Williams morale. But the are a lot of work. William makes it to the pool six days of the week. He never has any pain. He is able to maintain what he has. He walks with help. We have to his left leg and he uses a quad cane. I bought him a scooter but he hasn't n been using it. It is a little cold. When it warms up we will make it to the dog park. I usually try to make it to the dog park on the weekends and I walk for an hour with the dogs. I have been feeding William healthy meals. He does Ot seem very hungry anymore. But that is good we are maintaining our weight. I try to make it to the gym after work. I try to tell William that it is necessary that I take care of myself in order to take care of him. William loves to eat out so we take him out for dinner when I get off work. If the caretaker has not all ready him. He is a Chikfila kick with the caregiver. I take him out to soup and salad

Ruth - good to hear from you. I do hope you and William had wonderful holidays and so glad to hear you are both doing well. Of course, I love to hear about the little puppies! LOL.

Good to know you and William are maintaining the workout schedule for both of you and he continues to swim most days of the week. Do let us know how he likes the scooter - that will be fun for him at the dog park with his puppies and you - being to take part in the walk.

Ruth, so glad you are seeing to yourself. That is my goal for 2016. And I do hope the job is going well.

Please be well. Happy New Year and do check in again. Debbie

Good to see you blogging again Ruth, whatever name you use.  I take my hat off to you for all the work you have put into William's rehab over the years, with working full time that is quite an achievement.  The dogs being good for William must make the work maintaining them worthwhile.  You are a remarkable woman.

Sue.
