View from the floor

Something happened a couple days ago that hasn't happened to me in some time.

I was turning the ceiling fan in the kitchen down when I had what I call my "mini blackouts". These things really suck the big one. First I get dizzy, then my eyesite blacks out except for sparks, then I get a ringing in my ears, and lastly I become completely disoriented.

Usually I can grab a wall or whatever to brace myself until the few minutes it takes these things to pass. Unfortunatly where I was standing there was nothing to grab onto, so I hit the kitchen floor.

Besides a small bruise on my knee, there aren't any residual effects. It's been a couple of years since this happened, and I almost forgot just how much I hate them.

Michael,

Have you considered seeing a Neurologist for these "mini-blackouts"?

I do not know what you are experiencing but something is going on up there that a good Neuro maybe able to help you with.

Just a thought. biggrin2.gifbiggrin.gifbeer.gif

Michael, even though you had these "mini" blackouts, before and it has been two years, I agree with Charles..a trip to the doctor would seem to be in order...good buddy..

MICHAEL,

I FEEL YOUR PAIN, ONLY I DON'T HAVE THE BLACK OUTS, JUST THE SUDDEN AND UNEXPECTED LOSS OF BALANCE. IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!! I'M SO TIRED OF HITTING THE FLOOR, OR THE SIDEWALK, AND SLIPPING AT PROPERTIES I APPRAISE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!!!

MY NEURO'S ADVICE IS "PROFOUND". DR. FEELGOOD SAYS "GET MORE REST!!!!!! I HOPE YOUR EXPERIENCE AT THE DOCTOR IS BETTER THAN MINE!!!!!!!!

MY BEST LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!
