We used to market Champion sweatshirts to the Greeks on campus. For the photographers we had sweatshirts made up with Late Night Photo Crew printed on the front....a spin off of Letterman's Late Night Show. The name is very descriptive of what we do...take pics late at night because college students are late night people usually. We used to have 2-3 additional photogs working for us as independent contractors...which meant we didn't take out withholding from what we paid them.....They could make up to $600 a year without having to report it to Uncle Sam. So, that was tax-free money.

Those were fun days, I remember, going to many fraterity/sorority parties and taking lots of pictures of drunks. The drunker they got, the higher were our sales. Of course, their aim was to get the photog drunk as well, which we frowned on because we were using manual focus cameras back then and didn't want out of focus pictures taken.

Now, with the digital cameras that are autofocus, we still frown on the photog drinking. They drive to/from the event(don't want a DUI), plus, we don't want the equipment damaged.
