Busy, busy, busy!
And here I thought life was slow and that I had nothing to do......I haven't been home except to sleep for four days  Was kinda kidnapped by some really good friends on Sunday - they took me to church with them - very nice people, not the faith I grew up with, but was a really good service - a bit overwhelming to be around all those people but they were very kind and everyone knew I had a stroke (I was on their prayer list) so they didn't react funny to my emotional roller coaster . It's an interesting experience to open up a Sunday church bulletin and see your own name staring back at you. I think I'll go back - my regular church and priest have kinda faded away out of my life in the past few months - always nice to go where people pa a little attention to what is going on in your life - ad these folks didn't even know me except by my friend - I had gone to the previous church for four years and even got married there! Oh well
Anyway, they took me with them to a family thing where I was fed well, got to swim a little and play with the kids - a banner day for me I miss being around my "girls" - I was a girl scout troop leader and had 27 girl in my troop - think I'm still going to try to do again this year but with less girls - more manageable.
Yesterday had therapy and did errands with my hubby, we ate out for lunch and had a really good day together..we discussed him taking a break from everything next week, a good idea I think. And ended up renting a movie and getting some steak hoagies for dinner.
Today I went and helpd a friend with some computer stuff - realized that some of my "learning" in that area is gone :Tantrum: - this iis not a good thing - used to make my living programming and repairing..... Talked with an old work buddy though and am going to take some measurement tests to get a gauge on what I may have to re-learn, ick - took me six years the first time! Have a pretty worthless MBA now I guess - thinking I will go and talk to one of my college deans to get his take on the situation - it's a petty plaque, but I don't remember graduating now.
Tomorrow is an at-home day, but my girlie will be home from her Dad's - yay!. Get to catch up on things.
Having some trouble with my eyes again - still waiting on new glasses - getting a "tired" headache when reading or trying to do cross-stitch. Am marking that down on the list of things to talk about with the doc at my appt on Thursday.... writing things down is helping a lot.
