My husband drove me to physio today. Right now I'm hoisted into the passenger seat of the car by a hoist we had fitted so I can't drive but didn't drive that often before the stroke anyway. Session worked on bad arm again then standing. Standing with just 1 helper was fine, usually I have 2. In a few weeks my method of transfer will be the rotator not hoisting. We tried it out and was really easy. Not sure what other countries call a rotator, it is a disc you stand on, bars are attached to hold, the disc rotates. All in all a very pleasing session, bad arm moving more than ever before and news of the rotator.

After lunch I had my outdoor electric wheelchair assessment. They said my driving skills are good and passed me. Upshot is I have a free loaned wheelchair on order now. Will be great, much more

independence. Hubby has worked out how to get it in the car! Loved my trial, felt so good being out under my own steam.
