Well - had a great trip to the Social Security office yesterday to get Kyla signed up for benefits - she gets them because I am disabled - she is all set and since they had to redo part of the application we will now get our checks on the third of the month instead the fourth wednesday - yay! :Clap-Hands: :Clap-Hands: One of my good friends Jeweli drove me down and back and I was actually able to amost hold a whole real conversation! Am attending Speech Therapy once a week to work on this and also my math skills - I can't seem to remember how to add or subtract anymore :im stupid: - so I received flashcards to take home and practice with - woohoo, revisiting kindergarten - LOL

Any way - ear infection is clearing but everything still sounds lik it is far away or insidde a closed box.last checkup for that is on Friday.

Then next Tuesday I go to see the hand surgeon about the left ring finger knuckle that I damaged during the car accident in June - and it looks like I will be going to see an orthopod for my shoulder pain - my shoulder is partially slipping out of joint but they want to do x-rays and an MRI to make sure that I haven't torn anything from the accident or any of my falls - course it may just be plain old bursitis which I could easily deal with since that would not involve surgery! So am now stalled on Occupaional annd physical therapy until I see these specialists. A little break in the action isn't so bad though

nO, you are NOT STUPID - you had a brain insult, not your fault :( . that took away these skills, but it sounds like you are really on the road to recovery & it'll be great :Clap-Hands: getting your SS checks on a regular schedule -

GOD BLESS

June :cheer:

Thanks June - i know the stroke did a lot of things - It's just so hard to believe sometimes that the things I worked so hard for are gone - I know some I can relearn, just frustrating that's all - I think we all deareve a diploma at some point during oour recovery that we can hang up to remind ourselves of how far we've come;)

:cheer:

Thank you so much for the great job you do here every day - I hope someday that I might be able to do the same
