Well I am again on the weight loss train. I think weight loss (or the lack of it) in my opinion can be compared to alcholism in a sense. Now I know that alcholism is a horrible disease; But in the same sense that alcoholics go on the "band wagon" and then "fall off", so do the obese.
But I am more determined than ever to lose the weight and keep it off this time. I am roughly 90lbs over weight.

Well, I have now been released from all my doctors! I went for my final follow up with my obgyn on the 5th and she said that I was all healed up and that everything looked good. She asked if Lee had given any more thought on getting a vasectomy and we told her that he was having the procedure done that very afternoon. I lost the baby on 2/22. I had what is known as a tubal pregnancy. They could not see the baby but knew something was wrong. I went in to the hospital on the 21st with the worst pain I have ever had. After doing a vaginal u/s for 2 hrs. and finding nothing; My OBGYN decided she could wait no longer and opted for exploritory sugery to find out what was wrong.

I had my stroke on New Years Day 2004. On Christmas Eve '03 I went to a Chiropractor for the very first time and had my neck adjusted. I had been having neck spasams after having the flu and thought a Chiropractor might help.

I came home with a walker but don't have to use it now. I also came home with a shower chair, which I still use from time to time. I also had a feeding tube which was finally removed on March 29th, 2004. I had around 4 months of re-hab and have recovered a great deal. Although I will never fully recover (I don't see how anyone can after going through such an ordeal) I do feel like my life is finally getting back to normal.

The following is what a normal day consists of for me:
I get hubby off to work and kids off to school. I then go back to bed for a few hours. When I get up I do my morning chores (ie - make beds, pick up floors, clean off things) and eat breakfast. Then I relax and watch tv for a while or take a walk. After lunch I do my afternoon chores (ie - do some laundry, start dinner, sweep, mop, vaccume)
