Hello All:
I've been awake since 3:00 AM. This happens every time that I have something planned. I guess it is because I know I want to be successful in what I have planned.
This weekend is my 35th High School Class Reunion. I live 10 miles from where I graduated, so traveling isn't an issue. We are having a pizza party tonight, but it is only for the classmates. This way, we can and not have our spouses feel left out.
Tomorrow evening is the actual reunion dinner and danc
Hello All:
I just realized that responding to a blog IS NOT the same thing as ADDING an entry. I responded to 007's blog and I made the comment that this will now get me off Page 2. WELL, it didn't.
Thus, by adding this New Entry................................
NOW I am off Page 2.

Hi All:
Michael, congrats on what Kathy is doing and the remarkable recovery she is making, in regards to her stroke.
I would like to read about her by reading the 'postings' that she is doing. May I be so bold as to ask her Screen name?
Thanks,
Denny

Hello All:
I guess everyone is wondering why I haven't 'blogged' in awhile? Or why I haven't responded to other people who have 'blogged'? Am I too busy? Mabe I don't care anymore? I am not making excuses. I am having a 'noone-reads-and-responds-to-my-blogs day.
Now wait, I am not 'picking' on anyone. I am not 'holding a grudge' towards anybody. I AM just doing as the 'sign' up above says. I think I have that privilege.
All the 'blogs' that I read on here, tells the 's

At church, I do a men's breakfast, every three months. I did this recipe on April 2.
Egg Newport.

3 10.5 oz cans of cream of mushroom soup.
1 cup milk.
10 oz. mayonnaise.
1 tablespoon chives
1/2 cup bacon, cooked and chopped.
In a medium bowl, mix together the soup, milk and mayonnaise. Combine well.
In a 9X13-inch baking pan, place a small amount of the sauce.
'Layer' half of the sliced eggs on top of the sauce.

Hi All:
I have to apologize but this Blog is 'a little fishy'.
I had a request for a fresh trout recipe. I did a web search and I found this website: http://www.conservation.state.mo.us/fish/s...out/recipes.htm.
This site will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about trout. How to clean it, how to cook it different ways, how to freeze it or how to 'thaw' after you have frozen it.
To do a recipe web search, just type in what you are looking for, in this

Hello All:

I'm not complaining, I was just stating a fact. As I 'Blog' more, I will include a 'tried and true' recipe. Stay tuned. In the meantime .........................
Keep on Cookin'

Another Cooking Experience.
Saturday morning, April 2, I prepared a breakfast for men from my church. I did all the prep work and cooked it by myself. I made Egg Newport (recipe to follow), oven roasted potatoes, sausage links, and I had cranberry bread and strudel rolls as dessert. Beverage was coffee or orange juice. The breakfast was served 'buffet style', where the guys could 'help' themselves to how much they wanted. I also 'toasted' some English Muffins, to 'serve as a base' for
Good Morning:
Today is April 1. And what I want to say IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Apparently I have been typing in replys to people's blogs and I have 'caused' some disssention among the 'ranks'. I have recently read other people's blogs, and I have read 'posts' on the main message board. I have come to the conclusion that I am an 'outsider'. Let me 'state' why I say that:
I DO NOT have limited use of an arm or leg
I DO NOT have to use a wheelchair, wal
Everyone is making a list. Here's mine:
1. I was born on August 2, 1951.
2. I'm the only one in my family that was born in the county I live in.
3. I 'flunked' kindergarten because of a speech problem.
4. My dad 'served' in WW II.
5. My mom and dad were married in 1948.
6. I only have one sister.

Hi All:
I just wanted to 'share' an incident that happened to me over Thanksgiving 2004. My wife and I were invited out for Thanksgiving by good missionary friends that live in upstate New York. (YES Pam, the LAST exit in New York, BEFORE you cross the bridge into Canada.)
Well anyways, I said I would make Pumpkin Bread Pudding and Phyllis said I could make it up there. I went to the fridge, and I saw three dozen of eggs, in cartons. And, I did notice two 'loose' eggs in the d
Hi Kim (kbrasher):

Hello :
I have been a member since November 2004, and I am a frequent 'visitor' to the chatroom. I like to cook and I was encouraged, by several chatroom members, to start a Cooking Blog.
Let me start by introducing myself a little. I had a mild stroke on June 26, 1998. I was an office furniture / office cubicle installer. Because of my stroke, I could no longer do this job - too physically demanding. I needed to find another job I could do, not knowing what I WANTED to
